Speak the Language of Your Kids

There is a new app for iPhone users. It might just make you a little cooler.

This new app, Textionary, is a free app that is a collection of common and rare acronyms that teenagers are using in their text messages these days. This app might just help you reconnect with the teenagers in your life. It will either bring you closer, or make you look older in their eyes, but either way you'll finally know what they are talking about.

Textionary provides translations for common acronyms such as "BRB," be right back and "TTYL," talk to you later. Along with the common ones, there are far more difficult ones that would stump even the most tech savvy adults such as "TAUMUALU" which translates to "thinking about you miss you always love you."

The app sorts out the acronyms by the first letter. This app can be a useful tool for parents who what to know what their teenager is actually saying in text messages.
