The cocktail parties of the future might get the high tech makeover... and it will be a little strange when you start seeing women talking to their dresses. Don't be startled though, it's the fashion of the future.A London-based fashion company CuteCircuit has released images and information on a product called the "M-Dress." The dress looks like any other sleek, black silk jersey dress. However, it is not just that. It is a mobile phone.
The M-Dress is a mobile phone essentially. It accepts any standard SIM card, and it allows the person wearing it to receive and make phone calls without carrying a cell phone. All you have to do is slip your SIM card under the dress label, and the dress will do the rest. It has a special gesture recognition software that makes answering your phone as simple as lifting your hand to your ear.
According to Mashable.com the dress will only be able to call a few pre-programmed numbers, but you could attach different ring tones to different numbers so that you know who is calling. Yes, that means the dress actually rings.
The dress will be available sometime in 2011.
