Hey, guess what? When you use the same catch phrase a zillion times, you might get it trademarked.
Last year, Apple filed to trademark their phrase "There's an app for that," which they made famous in iPhone commercials. Last week it became official by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. In documentation, the company cited the first commercial use of the slogan on January 26, 2009.
Notoriously, Apple is a company that is protective over their branding. In the original report of the trademark, by The Unofficial Apple Weblog, it said:
"The trademark, which Apple filed for on December 4th, 2009 covers 'Retail store services featuring computer software provided via the Internet and other computer and electronic communication networks; retail store services featuring computer software for use oh handheld mobile digital electronic devices and other consumer electronics."
